James L. Rothschiller, MD – Biography 

James L. Rothschiller, MD, is board certified in both general anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. Dr. Rothschiller practices throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) metropolitan area.

Dr. Rothschiller earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from UCLA – University of California, Los Angeles. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of South Florida and his pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago.

Prior to moving to Texas to raise his family, he was an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Children’s Memorial Hospital – Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.

His research experience included studying operating room ventilators, laryngeal physiology using in vivo and in vitro models, cell biology and pharmacology of wound healing, and the development of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. His current area of interest includes medical website development and how search engines use artificial intelligence like natural language processing (BERT) to create ranking algorithms.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and three dogs and riding his tadpole recumbent trike.
